Kelly Richardson is a Los Angeles-based teacher, artist, photographer, writer and animal advocate. Kelly’s passion for animals led her to participate as an animal rescue volunteer, where she found herself captivated by the playful antics of kittens. She used her photography skills to capture these moments, resulting in a stunning collection of professional photographs that she shares in picture books. 

Kelly’s photographic images of kittens are accompanied by her delightful haiku poetry, featuring a unique use of alliteration and onomatopoeia, that give the reader a playful, poetic purrspective on kittenhood adventures.  Her children’s books are a fun, engaging and educational read for children.
